6th CTJ TEFL Seminar
The Casa Thomas Jefferson is proud to announce its 6th CTJ TEFL Seminar, to be held July 24-26 at the CTJ Asa Norte Branch, with the title Perfecting Profiles.
Last year the purpose of the seminar was to broaden teachers’ perspective of the ELT market and its challenges, as well as of their role as professionals, as suggested by the title Minds Wide Open. As a logical progression, our focus this year is on how teachers can perfect their profiles so as to be prepared to face the challenges of contemporary English Language Teaching, with an eye on the three dimensions proposed by TESOL in its 2008 Convention and Exhibit – Practice, Inquiry, and Creativity.
We would like to invite the ELT Community in the city and the country to participate in and/or send a proposal to present in our seminar, which has been attracting more and more professionals each year. We also take this opportunity to welcome our co-sponsors and collaborators, which include book distributors and various publishers well known worldwide, some of whom will be bringing renowned speakers for plenary presentations.
Come join the Brasilia ELT community in this two-and-a-half-day experience of practice, inquiry and creativity, with a view to Perfecting Profiles in all their important dimensions.
Sincerely,
Isabela Villas Boas
CTJ General Academic Coordinator
